ScreamBucket is the home venue for two friends and writers whose content could not be more different. Both write under pseudonyms.

Aetius Romulous is an economist, historian, accountant, and CEO of an active, medium sized company. He writes under a pseudonym to protect his business interests, and because his earlier efforts at writing got him put on the "no-fly" terrorist list. Which pisses him off to no end.

Aetius uses history and economics to weave his way through the choppy waters of capitalism and free markets, always in search of the elusive reasons why modern humans can be so confounding. Silly Humans.

Aetius loves to write in the "old" style, where three good words are always better than one, and the poetry of the English language is still as important as the message.

Finally, Aetius considers "fuck" an essential and singularly universal word for which - used in its proper context - there is no substitute. Like every effective arsenal of weapons, all words will be considered and available in the crafting of each essay. Why censor yourself when there are so many others willing to do it for you?

Brianna Popsickle never considered writing until her good friend Aetius chained her to her computer and said, "Write!" He thought she had a lot to say. Turned out she did.

She writes observations about people around her and the situations she finds herself in at home, work, in the doctor's office, the gym and more.  Some of it's funny; some of it's sad.  Some recollections are heartwarming, while others are insane, much like some of the people in her life.

Brianna got everything she ever dreamed of as a little girl; a husband, children, and a home complete with a picket fence. But she gave up her maiden name the day she got married, and her first name changed to Mom with the birth of her first child.

After years of diapers, soccer games, PTA meetings and teenagers, she's finally stepping beyond the picket fence in search of who she is now.
